Stud Dog List Criteria
Stud Dog List Criteria
1 Applicants that wish to include their dogs on the stud list must:
Have been fully paid up member of BD&CGRC for a minimum of 12 months prior to putting their dog on the stud list.
2 Agree to be bound by the Code of Ethics of BD&CGRC by completing the attached form and returning it to
the list co-ordinator.
3 Note that it is up to any stud dog owner to assess the suitability of bitches and the responsibility of the bitch’s
owner to bear in mind the serious undertaking of breeding a litter.
4 Confirm that the dog has a current clear eye certificate and provide the list co-ordinator with a copy.
An up-to-date copy of the eye certificate must be provided within one calendar month of the dog’s annual eye
test or the dog will be removed from the list until a copy is provided.
5 Confirm the dog’s hip score and provide a copy to the list co-ordinator.
6 Confirm the dog’s elbow score (if done) and provide a copy to the list co-ordinator.
7 Make a donation of £15 per annum (Jan-Dec) to club funds whilst the dog’s name appears on the list.
8 Note that dogs are placed on the Stud Dog List subject to BD&CGRC committee approval
The current Stud Dog List will be published in the BD&CGRC Members Handbook.
Anyone enquiring about a stud dog will be sent a current list. This will give the name of the dog, the owners name , telephone number and county of residence.
Berkshire Downs & Chilterns Golden retriever Club offers no warranty as to the quality, fitness, or suitability of any stud dog offered on the list, does not recommend any specific dog and accepts no responsibility for any transaction between the stud dog owner and bitch owner arising from the use of this list
